MainFrame is a popular modular system comprising aluminium poles and UV stablised connectors that go together to make a variety of garden products including: Fruit and Vegetable Cages, Cold Frames, Pet or Chicken Runs and Pond Covers

The system is virtually everlasting, as it will neither rust nor rot. Connectors, however, may need replacing when a MainFrame structure is stripped to be rebuilt for another purpose as the raised ribs on the spigots, designed to guarantee a good fit within the poles, may wear with repeated use.

No fruit cage, including MainFrame, will survive snow loading. If snow is forecast the roof net must be removed. If one net covers the entire cage, it must be removed to prevent damage to the structure

MainFrame can easily be assembled without tools. Nonetheless the use of a 0.5 inch/1.5cm, strong dibber to create the holes in the ground before inserting the aluminium poles and the use of a rubber mallet when joining poles and connectors are both recommended.
